School Spirit - Part II - LSU
I found it only fitting to find inspiration in the 2008 NCAA Football National Champions, Louisiana State University. The rich culture in Louisiana doesn't stop at Mardi Gras. Imagine Creole cuisine, jazz tunes, singing the blues and infectious 'joi de vivre' lifestyle (from Frech 'the joy of living'). The yellow gold + purple palette is beautiful for any wedding, but even more so to an LSU fan. Some tiger print wouldn't hurt either. Geaux Tigers!

I'm a Louisiana girl and know SO many people who would die for this board. How creative. I'm living in South Carolina now and I'm inspired to want to do a Gamecock board. Black and garnet isn't the best pallette, though!

We shot a wedding last year in which the bride was a USC fan and the groom was a Cal fan. They had some great touches celebrating their team pride. Someone even gave them each their own sports blanket with the other's team on it. It was a fun rivalry and brought out lots of laughter. This is an inspired idea- I am sure the wedding that goes down this path would be fun for all.

The wedding took place the night of the Alabama/LSU game last November and half the guest were watching the game at the bar. It was pretty funny.
I'm a Baton Rouge girl at heart and am seriously considering adding some purple to my
already yellow wedding! I live in NY now and moved here to meet the southern man of my dreams.Who knew you would travel so far to meet a man close to home! Is that the Smithsonian Cooper Hewitt? It's right near my 5th floor walk-up and it's simply gorg!! Love the Vera Wang purple gowns!! Great job!
