Laura, Kirstin and I took a trip to the Big Apple a couple weeks ago to meet with a spring 2009 bride of ours.  We had such a fabulous time!  A few shots from our 3 days in the city...

From top left: Watching the NY Marathon in Central Park, Visiting Reem Acra, Magnolia Bakery and Time Square.  This was Kirstin's first trip to NY, so leave it to the redheaded A-type personality La(u)ra's to take her to all the major sites in 4 hours!

A favorite stop during our trip was to Mood (made famous by Project Runway, but I used to come here and dream when I lived in Manhattan well before PR).  If you need some wedding inspiration, you will definitely find it here!  The garment district is packed with eye candy.  Also (below) we visited Rebecca at The Knot, saw lots of great election art (we were there the day before election day) and you know we HAD to stop at Pinkberry!  Laura and Kirstin had never tried the swirly goodness, so I was happy to treat them to the Pinkberry experience.  Next, is a blurry iPhone pic of us with our NY Bliss gal, Wanwisa!  It was SOOO great to see her and have some $18 NY margaritas with her.  We look forward to coming back for a Bliss girl visit again soon!  The chandelier shot is from my fav NY hotel, The Hudson.  We stopped there for a late night meal one evening.... such a gorgeous Ian Schrager hotel.  Ultra-cool interior design.

We were lucky enough to be given tickets to the Giants/Cowboys game.  I had never been to an NFL game in my adult life (as a toddler, my dad would take me to Redskins games religiously!) so this was a real treat!  Laura is our Bliss football expert, so she filled us in on all things sports.  It was freezing but we were so excited to be there that we didn't care!

The Bliss NC gals are off to FL again in a couple weeks to meet with 6 of our 2009 brides in the span of three days.  We are so excited to see Leah and to go visit Danielle who has been in the hospital for over 20 days now.  She is having twins in about 5 weeks and has been put on close watch.  Keep her in your prayers and send her some love if you get a chance!

Oh, and I have 5+ Bliss weddings still to blog from the spring.  We have been so busy travelling, planning a full season of 2009 weddings and launching our new BlogSite at SW, that I haven't had the time to blog here.  But, they are coming soon!  Stay tuned...
